Maybe music might move masses

Add music to your life

As I previously stated in one of my blog entries, I am currently undergoing the lengthy, exhausting and intrincate process of publishing a book that will detail my high-seas shenanigans across the many lands I explored. However, I cannot undertake such a Herculean task on my own. I was suggested to explore the possibility of letting an editor take my text, polish it and then release it for a widespread audience. The first name that came up was my cousin's, Richard Sympson. However, even though I know he is a prolific writer, I do not think a simpleton like him is smart enough to understand the intrincate vocabulary used in my most fantastic tales. As such, I decided to turn to the second editor in line, a mysterious man who goes by the name of Mr. Swift.  Apparently, Mr. Swift has several magnificent books to his name, with him being considered one of the best editors in this country. While I considered him as the main editor for my book, it came at a cost... I had to license my work and let Swift's cousin, Taylor, produce a musical based on my story.

I have to admit that I hated the idea at first. I despised it. My gut feeling told me that allowing a person desecrate my legacy, my legendary tales allowing them to become nothing more than a cheesy musical made me feel uneasy. But let me tell you, the exact moment I heard the lyrics, the music that Taylor crafted in her studio... I transcended. Nothing I have ever heard comes even close to her music and the way she wrote those deep lyrics that PERFECTLY represent what I felt during those excruciating moments.

While the actual tracks are still in development, Ms. Swift has shared with me some excerpts of the lyrics she is currently writing, and she even allowed me to post said images here! While I am sure you avid readers may be champing at the bit to witness such splended display of vocals singing about my high-sea adventurers, the musical is still a long way to go!
